Our client is one of the UK's largest Local Authorities. They provide the majority of local government services in the city. As one of the most populous local government districts in England the the LA serves over 1.1 million people.
Description
As part of the key transformation agenda, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless implementation of contract changes across the organisation. This role is central to ensuring that all elements of the project are managed efficiently, compliantly, and with the highest attention to detail.
This person will be responsible for;
- Manage the programme delivery of employment contract implementation for all colleagues
- Collaborate with colleagues in HR and Reward to ensure employment packs are accurate and approved prior to distribution
- Maintain oversight of logistics behind delivering employment packs to all colleagues
- Ensure helpline available for follow up calls/teething issues
- Maintain oversight and control of all project variables, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
Profile
The successful candidate will;
- Have a proven track record operating at a Senior HR level, ideally with experience overseeing significant TUPE transfer programme or hr transformation
- Demonstrable programme/project management experience (lean six sigma would be desirable)
- Private sector mindset emphasising need for pace as well as accuracy
- Excellent understanding of governance processes, ensuring all sign-offs are correct
- Gravitas and professionalism to inspire confidence and manage key stakeholders effectively
