Ashley Kate HR are looking to recruit a Senor HR Officer to join a impressive Manufacturing plant in Birmingham.
Based onsite salary up to £45,000 on experience.
40 hours per week
About the Role
As a Senior HR Officer, you'll be a key point of contact ensuring key deliverables reported out for business, actively leading and coaching on a range of complex HR issues to support the HR Manager of the HR Strategy across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing of onboarding and offboarding programmes including the whole employee lifecycle.
- Preparing HR reports and metrics using Microsoft office in particular excel to an advanced level.
- Manage, chair and lead complex Employee relation cases end to end with outcomes.
- Drive culture and change across the business, leading by example.
- Work closely with the L&D team to identify key training areas to be delivered across the business.
- Facilitate regular review meetings supporting employees managing absence periods.
- Co- responsible for compliance with the unions in the company by supporting the teams on up to date employment law.
- Manage accuracy of new starters and payroll inline with compliance.
- Attend meetings with management displaying participation
Senior HR Officer - About you
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent HR-related qualification)
- Proven experience in an Senior HR officer/Advisor role covering complex ER cases form end to end.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in HR KPI'S with improvement activities.
- Experience delivering projects and driving process improvements
- (Desirable) HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate Microsoft office Excel skills, being confident in reporting complex data and preparing reports for the board.
