Job Title: Business Analyst - HR DataLocation: Office Flexible / Hybrid (Birmingham City Centre)Contract: 2-year Fixed Term ContractSalary: CompetitiveWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known UK company for an exciting Technical Business Analyst - who has worked on large data migration programmes, ideally for HR / HCM driven projects and programmes. This role is perfect for a driven professional looking to contribute to a high-impact Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation programme. You’ll join a talented Team, working closely with Data Integration Leads, Data Analysts, Product Owners, and other key stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong data experience to make a real difference in a leading UK organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse existing data processes and identify opportunities for improvement within the HCM transformation programme.
  • Lead workshops to gather and document HCM data requirements.
  • Design and own the HCM data workstream, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to support data migration strategies and solutions.
  • Participate in testing and validation to ensure successful data integration and migration.
  • Assist in training, communications, and post-implementation support activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience managing business change projects, ideally within HCM transformations.
  • 5+ years of experience in software implementation and organisational process changes.
  • Expertise in data analytics and management, including data quality, security, compliance, and retention.
  • Experience with HCM systems, preferably in the hospitality or retail sectors.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree educated or equivalent.
  • Experience with process management techniques (e.g., Six Sigma/Lean).
  • BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent.
  • Scrum Alliance certification (CSPO, CSM) or similar.
