We are currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer based in Birmingham who will be involved in implementing robust and scalable infrastructure solutions within a global SaaS environment.
Location: Birmingham
Length: Permanent, full-time
Environment: Hybrid (flexible)
Responsibilities:
- Interpret requirements and contribute to the design and deployment of scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Responsible for both design and delivery of cloud-based infrastructure and application solutions.
- Create, maintain, build, and deploy effective automation solutions for infrastructure management.
- Ensure well-tested, reliable, and secure infrastructure practices and deployments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design and practices, ensuring smooth integration and deployment processes.
- Work accurately within time constraints, delivering solutions that meet the requirements for time, cost, and quality.
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques to effectively resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Support delivery within an Agile framework, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Experience:
- Demonstrates expertise in infrastructure management and automation across various platforms.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure using GCP, Cloud Run and Terraform.
- Good understanding of CI/CD practices and tools, ensuring streamlined deployment processes.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrates comprehensive experience across the full infrastructure lifecycle, from design and implementation to monitoring and optimization, ideally within an Agile framework.
