1st line Technical Support Engineer

£26,000 - £28,000 + Pension

Onsite in Birmingham

Our client, a business that has been going for over 60 years and is one of the largest names in hospitality is looking to hire a 1st line Technical Support Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity with a diverse business, where no two days will be the same.

This is a unique 1st line Technical Support Engineer role where you will get the opportunity to be a key point of contact on the service desk and hopefully manage a more junior person in the future. You will provide 1st line support, resolving tickets and manage the ticket queue. This role also provides the opportunity to get involved in project work too.

As a 1st line Technical Support Engineer, the hiring manager is looking for someone with experience within a 1st line role supporting desktops & laptops. You will have experience updating desktops & resetting passwords.

Technology wise it would be great if you have experience with Windows, Office, Active Directory/ Microsoft 365. For this role, you need to be organised, a problem-solver with good communication skills.
