Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a specialist in water treatment and technology services across the UK to recruit an experienced Technical Support Engineer, to play a crucial role in providing technical support to the engineering and commercial teams. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality support related to products, applications, and markets.

Responsibilities and duties
Working as the Technical Support Engineer, you will:

  • Provide technical assistance of technology and support products, managing requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for service delivery activities, including work instructions and service delivery plans.
  • Produce and distribute technical bulletins, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are informed, and records are maintained.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of new service methods, digital tools, and innovative learning approaches using cutting-edge technology.
  • Support and coordinate the preparation of all necessary documentation and materials required for service delivery, including service acceptance criteria, delivery plans, drawings, and manuals.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in water technologies, particularly in areas such as:
  • Water Chemistry
  • Ion Exchange
  • Reverse Osmosis
  • Electro-Deionisation
