Network Architect (WAN)- Permanent - MOD DV Eligible

Type - Permanent, Possible Hybrid

Salary - £60,000 - £70,000 + DV Bonus (Once Attained) + Company Bonus + Car Allowance

Clearance - Must be eligible for MOD DV + (Sole British National)

A leading technical supplier to the MOD is seeking to expand its Architectural teams. As part of this team, you will collaborate with highly skilled Network Architects, contributing to various project life cycles that encompass security, service, and management. Successful candidates will thrive in a collaborative environment where teamwork is essential.

This Role Will Involve:

• The Successful candidate will be working as part of a highly skilled team of Architects, where teamwork and collaboration is key. Communicating with multiple stakeholders ensuring work is aligned to the client's needs.
• Your role will entail providing technical leadership within a project, being responsible for network design and configuration documentation, including navigating through governance review.
• The role will provide hands-on technical configuration/implementation support and ensure a successful handover to service.

Your Experience:

• Knowledge and expertise in Networks and Network Architecture/Design
• Strong technical networking knowledge of network certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIS-ENT.
• WAN routing expertise, including MPLS, BGP, and ISIS.
• Knowledgeable on HLD and LLD
• Understanding of encryption overlays such as IPSec, GRE
• Proficiency in LAN switching, including extensive knowledge of the Juniper EX switch platform and JUNOS operating system.
• Understanding of the Cisco Switch platform and Cisco IOS.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end project lifecycle.
• Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLA).
