- Install copper and fibre data cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fibre optic link cabling.
- Install containment systems such as basket trays, cable trays, trunking, and conduit.
- Terminate and test copper and fibre cables (preferred but not essential).
- Perform site surveys to assess project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all installations meet safety and compliance standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism onsite.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Travel to various locations, including out-of-town sites, as required.
- Proven experience with copper and fibre data cabling installations.
- Familiarity with installing cable containment systems (tray, trunking, conduit).
- Knowledge of terminating and testing copper and fibre cables is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude.
- Friendly and polite demeanor with a clean and tidy appearance.
- Flexibility to work on out-of-town projects as needed.
- Full, clean driving license.
