Infrastructure Designer, Cloud (Azure), Networks, M365, Fully Remote, Systems Manager, IT Manager, Architect, Infrastructure Designer/Consultant
Virtual Network/Infrastructure Designer required for a medium size enterprise to provide design, implementation and build of multiple networks for Europe wide offices (physical infrastructure and cloud systems).
This will include the initial design of virtual networks through to implementation and build. The nascent systems are all based on Microsoft technologies and Azure including some requirement to design local "on-premise" storage and access.
You will also support selection & onboarding of managed service providers to ensure ongoing operational support and network including devices.
This will include the ability provide both hands-on design and implementation, right down to granular detail ad small projects e.g. designing connectivity from local offices and remote connection for home workers to ensure a secure network.
You will also work in a "hands-off" role including extensive engagement with the wider business, executives, third party providers etc.
This role will suit either candidates from a background working with medium size companies or larger environments, but the experience across multinational Wide Area Networks is essential, either as a Systems Manager, IT Manager, Architect, Infrastructure consultant etc.
Engagement is via UMBRELLA COMPANY only.Services can be provided on a fully remote basis.

- Extensive experience of designing and building virtual networks
- Able to case study network & infrastructure design/architecture and engineering capabilities and examples
- In depth knowledge of M365
- In depth knowledge of Azure
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies
- Knowledge of networking technologies, LAN & WAN
- Security architecture knowledge utilising and implementing MS products
- Very strong interpersonal skills to work closely with executives, suppliers etc
