We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with a strong focus on Palo Alto and Azure technologies to join an international MSP. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network security, cloud infrastructure, and hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, particularly in Azure environments. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable network solutions that align with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage network solutions using Palo Alto firewalls within Azure environments. Ensure that all solutions meet security, performance, and availability requirements.
• Implement and manage network security policies using Palo Alto technologies, including advanced features such as Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, and Global Protect.
• Integrate and manage Palo Alto firewalls in Azure, including setting up Virtual Network (VNet), VNet Peering, Azure Firewall, and ExpressRoute configurations.
• Administer and maintain PAN-OS firewalls, including updating firmware, managing firewall policies, and analysing security and traffic logs.
• Monitor network traffic, detect security threats, and respond to incidents. Perform regular security assessments and audits to ensure the integrity of the network.
• Work closely with cloud architects, DevOps, and IT teams to design and implement network solutions that support business objectives.
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including design diagrams, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Stay up to date with the latest Palo Alto and Azure technologies, recommending improvements to existing network infrastructure and processes.

Skills

• Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls, including designing and managing high availability configurations and implementing security features.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, VNet Peering, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, and Network Security Groups.
• Experience securing cloud environments using Palo Alto solutions, with a strong understanding of Azure security principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell to streamline network deployments in Azure.
• Experience with integrating Palo Alto firewalls with Active Directory Services (ADFS, SAML/SSO) and cloud-native security tools.

Certifications:

• Palo Alto: PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer), PCCSE (Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer)
