Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for networking and infrastructure? We're looking for a talented Infrastructure Network Engineer to join the team in Birmingham! This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of remote working and office collaboration, giving you the flexibility to excel both professionally and personally. What You'll DoAs an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our IT operations, taking charge of:
- Experience of working on Aruba and HP on-prem equipment.
- Designing and managing networking solutions (LAN, WAN, wireless).
- Configuring firewalls, switches, routers, and maintaining network security.
- On-prem networking equipment
- Implementing and maintaining virtualisation platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Managing Windows Server, Active Directory, and group policies.
- Supporting cloud infrastructure projects (Azure or AWS).
- Monitoring system performance and resolving technical issues.
- Ensuring business continuity through disaster recovery and backup systems.
What You'll BringWe're looking for someone with:
- Strong knowledge of networking (Aruba, TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, BGP).
- Hands-on experience with virtualisation tools like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Solid expertise in server infrastructure and storage solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimisation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure) - a bonus!
