Robert Half have partnered with an established market leader to recruit for a newly created Head of Data Enablement position on a permanent basis. Paying up to £100,000, with fantastic benefits and hybrid working, you will be pivotal in building a data governance framework and data-enabled culture.

The Role

You will be responsible for driving the organisation's data governance, data skills enablement, and fostering a data-driven culture across multiple sectors within the business. This role will ensure the establishment of trusted, reliable data as a core asset for the business, enable business-wide data literacy, and create a data-centric organisational culture. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and Implement Governance Strategy
  • Coordinate Governance Across Domains
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Monitor and Measure Governance Success
  • Establish a Data Academy
  • Standardise Data Management and Analysis
  • Foster a Data-Centric Culture

About You

  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or data enablement roles, preferably in a large, matrixed organisation.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and compliance.
  • Experience in developing and delivering data literacy and training programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving cultural change, particularly in promoting data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop metrics and KPIs to track the success of data initiatives.
  • Previous experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the business & technical team

Salary on offer is up to £100,000 with hybrid working (ideally 2 days a week in Birmingham office, flexible dependent on business needs).
