I have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Software Engineering Manager to join my national client during a very exciting time for the business.

This pivotal role involves managing both the people and technology behind the design, delivery, maintenance, and support of bespoke software and microservice-based architecture. You will drive high-quality deliverables that align with their strategic business and department goals, ensuring excellence at every stage.

The role is offered on a remote basis with occasional travel (maybe once a month)







What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Innovate: Oversee the design, build, maintenance, upgrade, and support of bespoke software and underlying architecture.
  • Technical Leadership: Make key decisions on designs and deliveries, ensuring solutions are resilient, secure, and scalable.
  • Quality and Compliance: Align technology development with stringent quality standards and client or product specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to design and implement robust front and backend solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion high-speed iterations, high code quality, and continuous enhancement of coding practices.
  • Strategic Management: Manage the technical realisation from high-level design to effective technical solutions.
