Support Manager, Infrastructure, Networks, Microsoft, ITIL, Hybrid, COR6994 We’re looking for a Support Manager with a deep focus on infrastructure, servers, and networks to join a pioneering organisation as they embark on an exciting new chapter—building a new site and service desk team in Oxfordshire! The Support Manager Role  you will oversee a small, dynamic team of skilled 1st and 2nd Line Engineers, supporting over 1,500 users across the UK. This role will require you to ensure the seamless operation of infrastructure services, server management, and network connectivity across a Microsoft-based environment. You’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the service desk, ensuring your team provides high-quality technical support for both server and network issues, while also maintaining exceptional customer service standards.  What’s required of the Support Manager?  

  • A strong technical background in 1st and 2nd line support, with a focus on infrastructure, server management, and networking.
  • Proven experience leading a service desk team or mentoring staff, with a desire to take the next step.
  • Familiarity with technologies like Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Group Policy, alongside server management and network monitoring tools.
  • Experience working within an ITIL framework, with a particular emphasis on change management and service continuity.
