Join our Digital, IT, and Facilities department as a Project Support Officer. This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of projects, ensuring they are executed on time, meet quality standards, and fulfil requirements. You will work under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager and collaborate across the organisation to drive project success.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the overall management and coordination of the programme, working closely with project leads to ensure effective setup and accurate documentation.
  • Manage and track project plans, risks, and workstream coordination, ensuring all dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones are captured and escalated appropriately.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of governance and assurance activities, setting up systems to ensure they are scheduled in advance.
  • Coordinate reporting mechanisms, ensuring team inputs are consolidated and reported to senior management effectively.
  • Provide recommendations on resource requirements and support the team with learning and development to embed best practices in delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a project or programme environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks dynamically and maintain high performance under pressure.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the flexibility to reprioritise as needed.
Desirable:
  • Working towards or holding project management qualifications (e.g., Prince2, APM).
  • Experience in a Regulatory or Governmental organisation is advantageous.
