Xpertise are excited to be working with a well-respected international organisation in assisting them to find an experienced Project Coordinator to support their Business Change team. The change portfolio of work is broad in range and includes infrastructure change, business process improvements, business transformation and technology implementations.

I’m looking to speak with individuals with excellent communication skills who have experience supporting on change initiatives/projects, whilst using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. If this sounds like you then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to capitalise on!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide project delivery support to programme or project managers as assigned and general administrative support to members of the Business Change team as and when required.  Dependent on level of experience provide project management support on small to medium-sized projects or work streams within a programme.
  • Create project plans or assist with creation of project plans, project proposals, timelines, and budget.  Manage and maintain the project plan; monitor progress against the plan, coordinate project activities and resources.  Manage risks, issues and actions log for the project.
  • Identify project risks and issues and deal with them as appropriate, escalating in a timely manner to the programme or project manager as required.
  • Arrange and coordinate project-related meetings including core project team, steering group etc. document actions agreed, distribute in a timely manner and ensure relevant project documents are updated.  Cover project team meetings when the programme or project manager is unavailable
  • Facilitate Scrum events by organising meetings like stand-ups, retrospectives and sprint reviews

Experience Required:

  • At least two years' experience working as a project coordinator or in a similar role
  • Experience in use of Microsoft Software packages such as Microsoft Office
  • Experience using or having a strong understanding of Continuous Improvement and Change Management methodologies
  • Working knowledge of a range of project delivery approaches including Agile methodology
