We are seeking an experienced interim IT Project Manager to join our team on a potential long term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure the smooth delivery of projects aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities:  Manages the definition, resources, and oversight of allocated budgeted project(s) within IT  Directly and matrix manages and motivates teams, and ensures that performance is continuously improved;  Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to the allocated budgeted project(s) within IT  Ensures allocated budgeted project(s) enable/contribute to the overall achievement of business strategy;  Works alongside the Head of Delivery to resource approved projects, from initiation to transition into BAU in line with the forward plan and product roadmaps  Dynamically augments, via contracted resourcing agreements, resource profile(s) in line with allocated budgeted project(s) demand;  Engages and influences sponsors and senior managers and Executive to ensure projects deliver the agreed business objectives and outcomes;  Supports the IT Management Team in collating, summarising, analysing and reporting, in accordance with IT KPI dashboard definitions.  Proactively identifies issues and risks with IT programme and projects and monitors recommendations and corrective/mitigating actions.  Evaluates and recommends plan-driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches to best fit individual project goals, objectives, and outcomes.  Ensures IT's PM methodology, principles, information workflow, KPIs and toolset are proportionate to business size and complexity;  Provide internal assurance on adherence to Project Management methodology, etc., reporting all inconsistencies and anomalies;  Manages the induction of external/additional Solutions Development and Delivery resources and their associated performance monitoring matrix;  Resource profiles and empowers project teams to deliver successfully;  Ensures project management continuously strives to align with and deliver business strategic objectives;  As a key decision maker within the IT organisation, working with all relevant stakeholders to agree best delivery options, resolutions to issues and risks, whilst appropriately managing decisions thereby avoiding unnecessary escalations.
