Project Manager

We are working with a private sector company in the West Midlands currently undergoing an implementation program. The role is looking for a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Agile Software Delivery to join an implementation project, ultimately being responsible for the success of the Software Implementation. The successful candidate must be able to evidence agile software delivery in previous roles and demostrate strong contractual awareness.* Role type: 2 year Fixed Term Contract (Potential move to permanent)* Location: Walsall, 3 days a week* Salary: Up to £60,000 p/aKey Responsibilities:* Develop detailed project plans, define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.* Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs using Agile methodologies* Leading, coaching, and motivating project team members on a proactive basis within an Agile style* Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.* Identify and manage project dependencies, and proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.Skills & Experience:* Extensive Project Management experience and relevant degree qualifications, including Prince 2, MS Office incl Projects (or equivalents)* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder engagement.* Very strong commercial awareness* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* The ability to lead and manage cross-functional project teams.* Software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
