They are currently seeking a highly skilled Software Security Architect with extensive DevSecOps experience and CISP certification to join their team. This role is perfect for individuals coming from a strong software engineering background who are passionate about integrating security into every phase of the software development lifecycle.
Job Description:
The Software Security Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security architectures to protect the client's software systems. This individual will leverage their expertise in DevSecOps to ensure that security is integrated seamlessly into the development, deployment, and operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering, a deep understanding of security best practices, and hold a CISP certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop comprehensive security architectures for software systems.
Implement and advocate for DevSecOps practices across development, security, and operations teams.
Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle.
Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve security posture.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on security best practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Software Security Architect or a similar role.
Strong background in software engineering with proficiency in multiple programming languages.
Extensive experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
CISP certification is required.
Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
In-depth knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in other security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) is a plus
