A leading, international law firm in Birmingham is looking to hire a solutions analyst. The main purpose of this role is to support the deployment and optimisation of innovative solutions and to champion the adoption of new technologies. The analyst will ensure that solutions are implemented smoothly and deliver maximum impact.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inputting into and supporting the legal technology strategy.
  • Attending industry events and forums.
  • Supporting the functionality of a defined part of the solutions portfolio.
  • Promoting user adoption of solutions.
  • Facilitating the maintenance and support strategy for home-grown solutions within a defined part of the solution.
  • Building productive working relationships with external technology vendors.
  • Leading the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions.
  • Monitoring the quality of products provided by vendors and reporting any issues.
  • Supporting change management, training and communication activities.
  • Conducting scouting for new vendors.
  • Supporting pilot programmes to test new solutions.

Main experience and skills required:

  • Experience of supporting and participating in successful technology projects and initiatives, from ideation to implementation and evaluation.
  • A keen and enthusiastic interest in the role and impact of technology in the legal profession.
  • Proficiency and experience in using and leveraging the Microsoft PowerPlatform, as well as other relevant technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, evaluate and implement innovative and effective technology solutions.
  • A solid and growing knowledge of a specific area of the legal technology landscape, such as e-discovery, knowledge management or data analytics.

To be considered for this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively. It is also crucial that you are able to identify and implement innovative and effective technology solutions for the firm and its clients.
