An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled 3rd Line IT Engineer to join a dynamic team. This home-based role offers a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £45,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling escalated technical issues, managing IT system maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. What you'll do:

As a 3rd Line IT Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to handle escalated technical issues that require your expertise. You will be working closely with other engineers, providing out-of-hours support when necessary. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you conduct root cause analyses for problem tickets, identifying and resolving underlying issues. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining the security and performance of our systems through regular updates and patches. Additionally, you will monitor Microsoft Service Health, resolving any reported issues promptly. Your role extends beyond troubleshooting; you will also assist users in making the most of productivity tools provided by Microsoft. Furthermore, you will manage SharePoint sites, ensuring secure access for all users.

  • Handle escalated issues from Level 1 and Level 2 support involving intricate and challenging technical issues.
  • Provide out of hours support as part of a team of Engineers.
  • Provide VIP support for system issues affecting the executive team.
  • Assist with encouraging and facilitating users to make the most of productivity tools and services provided by Microsoft.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for problem tickets to identify and resolve underlying issues.
  • Perform operating system updates and patches to ensure systems are secure and up-to-date.
  • Manage application updates and patches to maintain software performance and security.
  • Monitor Microsoft Service Health and resolve any reported issues.
  • Create and modify SharePoint sites, manage access, and create external guest user accounts.
  • Monitor and maintain Power Automate flows.
