We are working with a dynamic and growing managed service provider based in Birmingham. We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic First Line IT Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for our clients' IT issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues.
  • Provide support for Office 365, including user management, troubleshooting, and application support.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments
  • Address networking issues, including connectivity and performance problems.
  • Offer hardware support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365, Windows Servers, and networking fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT support.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
