Mobile HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £55,640pa
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday 06:00-18:00 & Friday - 06:00-14:00
Location: Hams Hall

For the mobile HGV Technician role, you will need to have prior commercial experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment and be responsible for supporting the workshop and customers carrying out all work to a high standard adhering to vehicle maintenance and compliance regulations.
 
Responsibilities of a Mobile HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·To use diagnostic equipment accurately and efficiently in order to rectify any faults.
·For all work allocated completion of compliance paperwork and following company procedures
·To ensure that all equipment being used by you and other staff is in a safe condition to be used. Ensure that all equipment is only used for the task it was designed for and is returned to the correct place of storage after use. You must report any failures in operation of the equipment to the workshop controller.
·To create and maintain a professional relationship with customers and suppliers.
·A flexible approach must be maintained in work duties, in order to provide adequate cover to service the workshops and customers' requirements.
 
Skills and Qualifications of a Mobile HGV Technician
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·Previous mobile experience
