Arcas Technology are currently partnered with a leading Insurance company based in Birmingham. They are looking for a n experienced IT Support Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, managing hardware and software, providing technical support, and optimising network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provision corporate devices using Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, and Active Directory.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, Azure/Entra, and Active Directory.
  • Build and configure corporate devices using Autopilot, SCCM, and direct domain join methods.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall issues.
  • Perform hardware maintenance and troubleshooting, including Dell-certified repairs.
  • Set up and support AV equipment from vendors.
  • Develop IT and user-facing documentation to streamline processes and enhance onboarding.
  • Provide end-user training and technical support to improve overall IT service efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing new hardware and software solutions to enhance IT operations.
  • Ensure data security and perform regular backups of important corporate information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IT projects and process improvements.

Key Skills:

  • Hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Software installation, configuration, and deployment.
  • IT asset management and database maintenance.
  • Endpoint management and device provisioning (Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM).
  • Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, Azure/Entra, Active Directory).
  • Windows Server administration (user management, group policies, troubleshooting).
  • Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with AV equipment setup and support.
  • Strong documentation and process improvement skills.
