We're seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a vibrant educational environment in Birmingham. This is a 6-week contract with the potential for extension, requiring someone who can hit the ground running and provide exceptional IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards for ICT services and facilities.
- Provide maintenance, installation, and technical support on-site.
- Offer technical and software assistance during lessons to support teaching and learning.
- Deliver training sessions for both staff and students to enhance IT skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the Network Manager to develop and improve the ICT infrastructure.
- Teach the basics of software programmes to users as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT support, ideally within an educational or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Ability to deliver training sessions and technical guidance effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
