We're seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a vibrant educational environment in Birmingham. This is a 6-week contract with the potential for extension, requiring someone who can hit the ground running and provide exceptional IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards for ICT services and facilities.
  • Provide maintenance, installation, and technical support on-site.
  • Offer technical and software assistance during lessons to support teaching and learning.
  • Deliver training sessions for both staff and students to enhance IT skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Network Manager to develop and improve the ICT infrastructure.
  • Teach the basics of software programmes to users as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT support, ideally within an educational or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
