ABOUT THE CLIENT:My client is seeking an IT Technician to join their growing team in Birmingham. The role provides onsite support to our client's schools, and you will be responsible for the day-to-day 2nd line IT needs. A car and driving license are essential for this role and fuel expenses are included.

THE IT TECHNICIAN ROLE:

  • 2nd line support
  • A car and driving license
  • Provide an approachable, friendly service to our clients
  • Resolve, advise and assist any IT issues that arise
  • Work alongside existing technicians and further develop your understanding of the role
  • Assist with migrations at client sites
  • Perform regular maintenance and checks
  • Remotely resolve issues using the helpdesk
  • Provide telephone support.
  • Occasionally visit other client sites

IT TECHNICIAN - ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Previous education sector experience is strongly preferred
  • Windows
  • Office 365
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • Azure
