My client is on the hunt for a skilled and proactive Senior IT Engineer to join their dynamic team. They are a national business based in Birmingham, and you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to work independently and under pressure.

Skills:
* Demonstrated expertise in IT support, at least 2-3 years' experience.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting
* Vast amount of experience with Azure - AD, Virtual Desktop, Networks
* Understanding of server management, vitalisation technologies (e.g., VMware), and storage solutions.
* Solid grasp of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN configurations, TCP/IP protocols, and network security measures.
* Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effectively assisting non-technical users.
* Capable of working independently, prioritising tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities concurrently.
* Proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues to minimise operational disruptions.
