We are seeking a Test Analyst for a fixed-term role until December 2025, located in Birmingham with a hybrid work model requiring one day in-office per week.
The salary for this position ranges from £35,000 to £45,000, and the candidate should have proven experience in managing test strategies and plans.
The ideal candidate will lead all technical testing, particularly User Acceptance Testing (UAT), while also performing hands-on technical work and guiding the team.
Candidates must be ISTQB certified and have experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and large user group UAT.
Supplier management experience is also required, along with the ability to prepare detailed test plans and liaise with stakeholders for successful implementations.

You will be particularly competent in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), completing technical hands-on work yourself whilst also providing guidance to the wider team.This role will require the successful candidate to be on-site in Birmingham once a week.Responsibilities

Lead and manage all technical testing at project level, particularly UAT.
Deliver non-functional services (Automation, Performance, Usability)
- Implement non-functional test tools.
- Develop non-functional test frameworks
- Analyse delivered systems to code executable specifications.
Identify and suggest best practices to execute System, System Integration and User Acceptance Testing in accordance with stakeholder requirements and available resources.
Analyst documentation to identify appropriate test conditions
Prepare detailed test plans to highlight existing and new functionality, plan approach to ensure accurate completion.
Liaise with stakeholders regularly to ensure accurate and successful implementations.

Experience

ISTQB certified.
Proven experience managing and developing test strategy and test plans.
Experience testing across the Software Development Lifecycle (SCLC).
Experience conducting UAT across large and diverse user groups.
Supplier Management experience.
