Teacher of Design Technology KS3 - KS4 needed in South Birmingham.

Start date: ASAP - Ongoing

Required to start ASAP, this popular school seek an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher for full time posts (though part time hours would be considered). The roles require a Design Technology Teacher who is able to teach engaging and dynamic lessons in the subject. Ideally candidates will work well with staff and have the ability to inspire able and motivated students.

The timetables will involve teaching all areas of the the DT curriculum. These include:

  • Resistant Materials
  • Graphics
  • Food Technology
  • Textiles
  • Product Design

In return, the Design Technology Teacher will have the opportunity to work in an engaging and dynamic school with a real friendly working environment.

Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants need to have:

  • QTS with a Design Technology specialism
  • Experience teaching classes up to KS4
  • A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
