A rapidly expanding manufacturer of plastic injection moulding machinery is looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their service and installation team.

With increasing sales and a growing market share, they need additional Service Engineers to keep pace with rising demand while maintaining their reputation for delivering excellent levels of service and support. This is a key role in upholding and enhancing their brand's success.

This home-based position focuses on providing exceptional customer care across central England.

***40,000-45,000, Door to Door, + vehicle + OT + benefits***

As a Field Service Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Installation and commissioning of new injection moulding equipment at client sites.
  • Providing remote and onsite technical support.
  • Conducting training sessions on the operation, maintenance, and safety procedures related to injection moulding equipment.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on injection moulding machinery.

To be successful in the role of Field Service Engineer, the ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience of maintaining and repairing plastic processing equipment such as Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Thermoforming, or Plastic Extrusion machinery.
  • Be multi-skilled with experience of working with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Be willing to travel throughout the south of the UK with occasional overnight stays.
