They are currently seeking a Senior Claims Handler to join their Birmingham office.
In this role, you will be the dedicated Claims Handler for a key client, where you will oversee their entire claims portfolio, from small losses to more complex and high value claims. The client will be from a commercial background and therefore your caseload will be cross-classed including Employers & Public Liability, Motor, Property and Products and Professional Indemnity. You will oversee the entire claims process, using your expertise in insurance to accurately assess and resolve claims within set timelines. Effective collaboration with both internal teams and external partners will be essential to ensure smooth and timely resolutions. Your responsibilities will also include analysing claims data to identify trends, developing strategies to mitigate risk. Building strong client relationships and staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes will be key aspects of your role.
To be considered, you will be an experienced Claims Handler, dealing with commercial and/or corporate clients and ideally be from a broking environment. You will have strong analytical and decision-making skills, along with excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach. As you will be a senior member of the team, you will help mentor and guide the less experienced colleagues in your team and share best practice.Â
