We are on the hunt for an exceptional Mortgage Support Officer to join our Operations Team and play a key role in revolutionizing the mortgage lending experience!About the Role:As our Mortgage Support Officer, you'll be at the heart of managing mortgage applications from start to finish. Your mission is to ensure the smooth and accurate processing of lending applications while providing outstanding support to Brokers and customers throughout their journey. This high-energy role involves handling a substantial volume of work and requires a meticulous approach.Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Management: Oversee applications from initial broker submission through document review, legal initiation, valuation requests/reviews, COT/Deed checks, completion, and post-completion servicing.
  • High-Volume Administration: Thrive in a dynamic environment where managing large volumes of applications is the norm.
  • Collaborative Coordination: Engage with Brokers, Solicitors, Valuation teams, and internal departments to ensure seamless processing and resolution of queries.
  • Continuous Improvement: Utilize your experience to contribute to process enhancements and drive operational efficiency.
  • Performance Management: Uphold high standards of performance and contribute to achieving departmental and company goals.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a lending operations role, with a solid understanding of mortgage servicing and completions. Experience in reviewing valuation reports is a bonus.
  • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication, and effective problem-solving abilities. A team player who excels at building relationships and achieving results.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of retail lending processes (owner-occupier and Buy to Let). Familiarity with Commercial Mortgages is advantageous.
  • Qualifications: CeMap qualification is beneficial, but a strong desire to pursue it for personal development and career growth is essential.
