Our client, a well established Lloyd's Managing General Underwriter, are looking to recruit an Existing Business Development Underwriter to be tasked with building and maintaining broker relationships in and around the Midlands by offering a high level of customer service and working closely and effectively with the Underwriting team and your team leaders to ensure that all work is completed within SLA’s.

Duties will include providing brokers with their renewal invites for all products including RPO, CPO, Retail, Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Contractors, Tradesman and Commercial Combined, in good time and working through any renewals queries for your panel of brokers in a timely manner. You will action all Mid Term Adjustments and Cancellations for your brokers and clients and act as a referral point for Underwriting Assistants within the Team for lager cases.

Candidates must have a proven track record in underwriting Property and Casualty risks as well as being self-motivated, friendly, professional and possess good relationship building skills.

Flexible on location within the Midlands, this is a remotely based role with occessional travel to the London office as and when required.
