Job title: HNW Trading Underwriter
Salary: £55,000
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week, with the remaining days being remote.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
A big name in the HNW/PC space is seeking a Trading Underwriter to join their well-established, specialist underwriting team. This role offers development opportunities and exposure to specialist products across the HNW space.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Underwriting Art and Private Client products
- Working towards set targets including profitability, GWP, conversion, productivity, referral rate reduction, and turnaround times
- Developing sales skills and appreciation of sales and underwriting strategy
- Negotiating with internal and external parties, including key broker partners
- Challenging non-standard underwriting decisions and identifying process improvements
EXPERIENCE
- Logical and analytical thinker
- Underwriting experience within HNW/Private Clients
- Natural flair for building relationships with brokers
- Collaborative team player
- Ambitious and driven
