Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the design and delivery of drainage solutions for various projects, from developments to large-scale infrastructure schemes.
  • Developing drainage designs at all stages, from concept through to detailed design.
  • Utilizing industry-standard software such as MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, and InfoDrainage.
  • Working within a digital design environment, including 3D modeling and data-sharing platforms.
  • Reviewing and validating design outputs, including calculations, models, and technical drawings.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and maintaining effective professional relationships.
  • Providing technical input for project proposals and bids.
  • Supporting the growth and development of junior team members.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong technical expertise in drainage design and a deep understanding of the sector.
  • Experience in sustainable drainage solutions for transport and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software such as MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, and InfoDrainage.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling and digital project workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • A full, clean UK driving license.
  • Degree-qualified with professional accreditation or actively working towards it.
