Are you passionate about fashion and eager to support the next generation of designers? We have an exciting opportunity for a Fashion Technician to join a dynamic college team in Birmingham on a temporary, ongoing basis.

Position: Fashion TechnicianLocation: BirminghamType: Temporary, Full-TimeSalary: £15.51 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to fashion students and staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
  • Maintain and organise fashion equipment and materials, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
  • Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for classes and workshops.
  • Support students in the use of fashion technology and equipment, offering guidance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Collaborate with lecturers to enhance the delivery of fashion courses.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fashion or textiles environment is desirable.
  • Qualification in Fashion or textiles
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
