Area to be covered: West Midlands (minimum 3 days in Birmingham showroom)

Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + £15,000 commission

Benefits: negotiable car allowance & benefits package

The role of the Interior Designer – Furnishings will involve:

Interior Designer role promoting furnishing and interior design solutions
Including furniture, lighting and accessories
Majority of your time will be spent selling to and influencing individuals of high net worth and property developers
Getting involved with the buying team and working closely with the Buying Director across 7 stores
Target circa £350-£500k depending on experience
Get involved with in-house design service using SketchUP 3D
Regular contact and visits to central Birmingham showroom
Attending trade shows

The ideal applicant will be an Interior Designer – Furnishings with:

Must have experience in the interior design market place
Ideally be from a business development or sales focused position
Experience in the buying sector advantageous
Must have experience with design software; ideally SketchUP 3D
Fire in the belly/ ability to open doors and “make things happen”
Trustworthy, able to work autonomously
