Your new companyHays are delighted to be partnering with one of our key housing association clients to deliver on a Senior Asset Investment Manager role based in Birmingham, with the role paying up to £65,000 per annum. The role will ensure the effective management and delivery of all company contractor/maintenance services, in a cost-effective, safe, and customer-focused manner.Your new roleYour new role as Senior Asset Investment Manager will ensure the delivery of planned works programmes, and will oversee the management of several Contract Managers as their direct line manager. Duties involved in your role will include:

  • Responsible for the effective oversight and financial administration of several contracts under your control.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of multiple planned works programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver on projects.
  • Ensure compliance and support further development of the organisation's contract delivery framework.
  • Ensure all relevant certification is provided for completed projects.
  • Lead, manage and develop your direct reporting line.
  • Improve customer experience by constantly high levels of customer satisfaction.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you should be qualified with either the RICS or CIOB, and have strong contract management experience within the social housing sector, or similar. You will be a solid people leader, or be looking to step into management capacity, and have strong contractor management skills. You will have demonstrable experience in maintenance contracts and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and contractors to develop long-term relationships.
