Investment ManagerPrivate EquityMidlandsI am currently working exclusively with an entrepreneurial private equity boutique, who are looking to hire an Investment Manager into their Midlands office. They are looking for a forward-thinking deals professional who is keen to forge a career in Private Equity. The firm's current portfolio has performed well, meaning a high proportion of your time will be spent working on new investments essentially split into 4 areas including origination, deal execution, and portfolio management and exit planningAs the successful Investment Manager, you will be involved in the full cycle of investment including supporting the Management team with the growth. This will include networking, targeted origination, deal screening, legal negotiations, financial modelling, due diligence, deal execution, and working with the portfolio. This will also include supporting the invested business in both the planning and execution of key development projects, and execution of M&A processes, including review of opportunities, valuation, and financial due diligence.Our client is seeking commercially minded candidates who have previous experience in a deals environment, this can be in Private Equity (PE) or Venture Capital (VC), alternatively Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Strategy, Transaction Services, Restructuring or Corproate Development. In addition, you will have strong intellectual curiosity and a genuine passion for investments with a demonstrable ability to prioritise, multi-task, and work to tight deadlines.
