We are seeking a nautral problem solver and driven Data Scientist to join a talented team and drive data-driven decision making across our organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting insights from complex data sets, building predictive models, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, clean, and analyse data from various sources to uncover meaningful patterns and trends.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems, such as forecasting, customer segmentation, and process optimisation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data science tools, techniques, and industry best practises.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Analyst, preferably in a business-facing role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Good understanding of statistical modelling and machine learning techniques.
  • Effective communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Databricks, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of time series forecasting, clustering, and other advanced analytical techniques.
  • Familiarity with agile software development practises.
  • Understanding of business operations and industry-specific challenges.
