Exciting Opportunity: Employee Relations Officer  Salary: £14.94 per hour including holiday pay  

Role Type: Temporary 

Location: Birmingham – Longbridge

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to work at one of the largest colleges in Birmingham as a Employee Relations Officer  

To Provide meticulous HR administration for the College, serving as the first point of contact for all HR operational matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for HR employee relations inquiries, offering advice and support.
  • Assist the Assistant Director and Advisors with administrative tasks.
  • Manage diaries and schedule surgeries for the Employee Relations Team.
  • Handle administration for hearings, including note-taking and issuing letters.
  • Conduct pre-employment Occupational Health Referrals.
  • Track progress of external referrals and probationary paperwork.
  • Administer monthly pay actions and monitor employee absence levels.
  • Update the Case Management Review log and schedule Exit Interviews.
  • Support interview panels with advice and training.
  • Maintain records for Tier 2 Sponsorship License employees.
  • Ensure accuracy of employee records and conduct annual data cleanses.
  • Manage employee archive records and issue People Service metrics.
