PageGroup are delighted to support a Birmingham based organisation in the Transport/Rail sector with the appointment of a Industrial Relations Specialist to join on an interim basis for circa 8 monthsThis role offers hybrid working with some travel to sites in Birmingham and London 2-3 days per week.
Description
The role of Industrial Relations Specialist is an interim position for circa 8 months, with the possibility of extension. Duties will including take responsibility for the strategic relationship with the Trade Unions:
- Develop and implement IR strategies in alignment with the company's objectives.
- Handle labour relations and negotiate with trade unions.
- Advise management on IR policies and practices.
- Monitor compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Lead conflict resolution processes and handle employee grievances.
- Collaborate with HR to implement employee engagement programs.
- Conduct training sessions on IR matters for HR personnel.
- Prepare reports on IR activities for senior management.
Profile
A successful candidate for this role will have extensive experience at dealing with Industrial Relations.
