Associate Town Planner - Leading Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy

Location: West Midlands

We are looking for passionate Town Planners to support the growth of our successful Birmingham team, working on a variety of significant infrastructure projects and offering opportunities for international involvement.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading the preparation and management of planning applications, including TCPA, Development Consent Orders, and Transport Works Act Orders.
Developing and implementing planning strategies to deliver major projects.
Providing high-quality advice, reports, and presentations to clients, backed by robust analysis.
Collaborating with internal and external technical specialists to deliver multi-disciplinary projects.
Building and maintaining client relationships while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town and Country Planning (RTPI accredited), with Chartered membership of the RTPI.
Strong experience in planning within consultancy, local authority, or similar environments.
A deep understanding of planning law and procedures, with proven commercial acumen.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and working with diverse teams.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex issues to non-specialists.
