Senior Town Planner requires for one of the UK’s most high-profile design consultancies. The schemes they are involved with are diverse and technically complicated. They are now keen to develop their Town Planning capability by recruiting the industries highest calibre Senior Town Planner to further enhance their status and offering in the UK

In this role you will be:

Formulating planning strategies, evaluating site planning history, and reviewing relevant planning policies within development plans and national guidelines.
Creating briefing notes to assess the likelihood of obtaining planning permission for residential or commercial purposes.
Writing clear and persuasive planning statements to support development proposals.
Leading the planning aspects within multidisciplinary teams on various projects.
Participating in site visits, design team meetings, and client meetings.
Managing project delivery and maintaining budgetary control.
Collaborating with colleagues from different WSP departments, such as Transport or Sustainability, to integrate their insights into comprehensive advice for clients.
Monitoring planning applications and coordinating with clients and teams to address consultation feedback.
