We are looking for experienced Town Planners at Senior or Principal level to join a progressive team in Birmingham. You will support efforts to deliver major infrastructure and development projects across sectors, helping to make a difference in communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Planning Lead on projects across various sectors and markets.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary projects, managing project delivery and client relations.
  • Participate in bid preparation, tender submissions, and framework responses.
  • Provide guidance to junior colleagues and support Planning team leaders.
  • Engage with market and client leads to foster business growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment with colleagues across environmental, engineering, and design disciplines.

What We're Looking For:

  • A relevant Planning degree; RTPI membership is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of planning applications, including TCPA, DCO, and TWAO.
  • Experience with Environmental Impact Assessments, Strategic Planning, and Planning Policy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, delivering high-quality outputs on time and within budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships, with experience in work winning and market growth support.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and resilient, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
