The Client
Our client is one of the leading survey companies in the UK providing full UK coverage in a wide range of services.These include land, measured building, topographical, highway, hydrographic, railway and underground utilitytracing.

The Role

• Conducting land surveys using modern survey methods and devices
• Resolving any unexpected site issues and seeking help from the team and management when required
• Accurately recording surveying information on-site to the agreed specification and scope
• Building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring that we deliver to our client's expectations
• Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments
• Checking the quality of information collected on site and ensuring a successful transition to deliverables
• Delivering to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices
• Carrying out any other duties as required by the business

Experience Required

• Working knowledge and able to demonstrate correct use of Total Station, Laser Scanners and GNSS.
• Experience in taking projects from field to finish liaising with clients onrequirements/specification andproviding professional advice.
• Proficient in the creation of technical survey reports.
• Experience of working with teams of less experienced surveyors, adopting a coaching and mentoring style.
• Effective communication skills.
• Able to work well and contribute as part of a team.
• Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines.
• Good time keeping.
• Flexibility to work away from home for periods and accommodate various shift patterns when required(such as night shift etc).
• A committed attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced industry.
• A full UK driving licence.
