Anderselite have the absolute privilege to be collaborating with a global multi-disciplined giant, specifically for their Architecture department. Due to quite an influx of projects, and a thorough pipeline of work, they are keen to speak with mid to senior Architectural Technologists for their Birmingham post.
As part of this role, you will take preliminary designs and develop them into fully buildable solutions, ensuring seamless coordination of detailed information across multiple disciplines. Acting as the main point of contact for the site delivery team, you will be responsible for supporting construction activities, including responding to technical queries and reviewing sub-contractor documentation. You will also manage package procurement and project scheduling to align with design milestones, lead Design Team and Coordination Meetings, and provide guidance to the contractor during the build phase. Regular updates on project progress will be communicated to management on a monthly basis.
What youll be responsible for:
- Handling tasks associated with the daily delivery of projects across all stages, including preparing design deliverables, providing precise technical details, resolving technical challenges, conducting site inspections and surveys, monitoring progress, and raising design changes that could affect fees, change controls, or timelines with the Project Leader.
- Leading and overseeing technical project teams, as well as engaging directly with clients and contractors.
- Taking on the role of team leader, managing your workload independently while adapting to the needs of the project.
- Coordinating and organizing Design Teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
- Providing technical design assistance to project teams, ensuring successful project outcomes that align with client goals and expectations.
What were looking for you to bring to the role…
- A qualification such as an HNC/HND in Architecture, Building Construction, a BSc in Architectural Technology, or other equivalent certifications recognized in the field.
- Membership eligibility with a relevant professional body, such as MCIAT, or an equivalent recognized accreditation.
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and associated technical design standards.
- Proficiency in using REVIT and Navisworks to support project delivery in compliance with Level 2 BIM requirements.
- The ability to meet the criteria necessary to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance in the UK.
