Superb opportunity for a Architectural Technologist to join one of the UK's leading Architectural practices, to be based in their Birmingham office.
The practice feature prominently in the list of AJ100 practices, and have multiple offices throughout the UK and internationally. The Birmingham office is now seeking to recruit an additional Architectural Technologist as a result of ongoing growth and success.
An Architectural Technologist with a proven background in the Residential, Student Accommodation & Commercial sectors would be looked upon favourably for this role, alongside full proficiency in the use of Revit. The practice work in multiple sectors other than the aforementioned, so the opportunity for variety is very much available. Other areas worked within include; Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Workplace and Industrial schemes.
The practice is currently very design lead, and is heavily balanced more towards Architects and Architectural Assistants in the office. The intention is for the Architectural Technologist in this role to progress quickly through the ranks, growing a technical team in the process. For an ambitious and experienced Architectural Technologist, this is an outstanding opportunity for you to progress through to Senior & Associate level, and even through to a Technical Director title in the future.
The practice operate in a BIM environment, and have successfully implemented Revit throughout. Due to the nature of the projects and sectors worked in, the Architectural Technologist will require at least 3-5 years of continuous Revit experience, ideally working on BIM Level 2 schemes.
Other desirable requirements of the Architectural Technologist as follows:
Hold a degree in Architectural Technology, with approx. 5 years of post qualification experience.
MCIAT accredited
Experience of managing projects whilst leading a small team of Architectural Technicians.
Be comfortable with mentoring and developing more junior colleagues.
Experience of working in a broad range of sectors, ideally in Education, Residential and Commercial schemes in particular.
Fully proficient in the use of Revit, with at least 3 years of continuous hands-on experience.
The drive and ambition to progress through to senior positions in the practice.
In return, you will receive a salary in the region of 34,000-40,000 per annum dependant on experience, alongside a competitive benefits package.
