Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce precision metal parts and components in accordance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines (e.g., Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic, etc.)

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files

  • Load raw materials and monitor cutting operations to ensure accuracy and quality

  • Inspect finished products using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser machinery

  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical or software issues

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications

  • Familiarity with CNC machinery and laser cutting processes

  • Basic knowledge of materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed

Desirable (not essential):
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software

  • Forklift license or experience with material handling

  • Previous experience in a sheet metal or fabrication environment
