Position Overview:
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a dynamic team in their Birmingham City Centre office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling contract disputes, shareholder conflicts, and professional negligence claims, alongside wider high value commercial disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Counsel clients on legal strategies, associated risks, and potential outcomes, ensuring effective and transparent communication.
* Advocate for clients in court and alternative dispute resolution environments, preparing all necessary case materials to represent their interests.
* Draft and assess legal documents such as pleadings, witness statements, expert reports, and settlement agreements, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
* Perform extensive research on applicable laws and case laws to inform strategy and support sound decision-making.
* Cultivate and preserve strong client relationships by providing regular updates and fostering a sense of trust throughout the legal process.
* Keep abreast of changes in commercial law to uphold the highest standards in legal practice.
* Support the firm's development by recognising client needs, participating in networking opportunities, and strengthening client connections.


About you:
* A qualified solicitor holding a law degree and essential professional credentials (e.g., Solicitors Qualifying Examination in the UK).
* A minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial litigation, with a proven history of successfully handling complex dispute cases.
* Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and advocacy.
* Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
* Excellent organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
